Door with alarm and micro-magnetic sensor. The presence of an alarm that signals when the blast chiller door is open is essential to ensure that the internal environment maintains its ideal temperature. This helps prevent the compromise of food quality due to accidental door openings. Equipped with a micro-magnetic sensor, it stops the internal fan when the door is opened, which is important to prevent the fan from continuing to run in such cases.

Anti-condensation plastic thermal-breaker. This component, which frames the body of the 3-tray blast chiller, is designed to prevent condensation from forming on the external surface. Additionally, the heating wire can be used to prevent ice or condensation buildup and to maintain a more consistent internal temperature. This also helps to increase the durability of the removable gasket.

Core probe included. Rapid temperature reduction is essential to prevent bacterial growth and preserve food quality. This type of probe allows the blast chiller to operate automatically and enables precise monitoring of the internal temperature of food during the chilling process.

Eco-friendly. This Chefook blast chiller uses R290 gas, known for its high cooling efficiency and low environmental impact. Thanks to these features, it helps ensure low energy consumption.

Energy saving. Waste is minimized thanks to 6 cm of insulation that optimally maintains cold temperatures. The removable magnetic gaskets, which ensure a perfect seal, also contribute to energy savings. This professional blast chiller is entirely made of AISI 304 stainless steel.

Treated evaporator. The evaporator is treated with an anti-corrosion coating, which is useful for holding any type of product and helps prevent the evaporator from puncturing.

Ventilated refrigeration. Cold air is evenly distributed inside the professional blast chiller. Thanks to the vents positioned on the false ceiling, cold air can flow upward, easily reaching even the most distant areas, ensuring a uniform temperature throughout the internal space and guaranteeing optimal food preservation.

Stop-start defrosting. During normal operation, the compressor is active, and the refrigerant circulates through the cooling system to maintain the desired internal temperature. However, over time, ice or frost may accumulate on the internal surfaces, compromising cooling efficiency. To resolve this issue, the stop-start defrosting system temporarily halts the compressor’s operation. During this stop period, the internal temperature rises slightly, just enough to melt the accumulated ice or frost.

Automatic preservation mode. This mode activates automatically at the end of the blast chilling cycle (infinite cycle). It provides peace of mind as there is no need to manually monitor or adjust the temperature after chilling. Additionally, the temperature is maintained at the pre-set level for the necessary time to preserve the quality and organoleptic characteristics of the food. Finally, it ensures prolonged freshness of chilled foods, avoiding waste and spoilage.

Chilling speed. This professional 3-tray blast chiller can reduce the temperature of food from 90°C to +3°C in 90 minutes in a positive chilling process. Additionally, in a negative chilling process, it can lower the temperature from 90°C to -18°C in 240 minutes. The chilling capacity is 7 kg, while the freezing capacity is 5 kg.

Display. The blast chiller is equipped with an electronic panel that displays the main information; this allows for more precise control and detailed monitoring of operations. In case of an error, a warning message will appear on the display, allowing you to intervene to resolve the issue. The end-of-cycle “Buzzer” indicator also signals when the cooling cycle is complete, letting you know when the food is ready to be removed from the blast chiller.

Adjustable feet. The feet are useful for leveling the machine and adjusting its height, optimizing its use.
